1. General Information

Golden Gears provides vehicle rental services across the United Arab Emirates. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our services, including website bookings, mobile app bookings, and in-person rentals. By making a booking or using our services, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old, possess a valid driving license, and meet all legal requirements to rent a vehicle in the UAE.

2. Vehicle Booking and Rental

1. Reservation:

   • Reservations can be made online, through our mobile app, or in person at our rental locations.

   • Booking confirmation is subject to vehicle availability.

2. Rental Duration:

   • The rental period begins at the time specified in your booking and ends upon return of the vehicle to the agreed location.

   • Early returns do not automatically qualify for a refund unless otherwise stated.

3. Vehicle Use:

   • Vehicles must be used strictly in accordance with UAE traffic laws and regulations.

   • You are responsible for any fines, penalties, or damages incurred during the rental period.

   • Unauthorized use of the vehicle, including off-road driving, towing, or participation in illegal activities, is strictly prohibited.

4. Mileage and Fuel Policy:

   • Vehicles must be returned with the agreed fuel level. Refueling charges will apply for any shortage.

   • Excess mileage charges may apply if your rental plan has mileage limits.

3. Payment and Charges

1. Rental Fees:

   • All rental fees, deposits, and additional charges will be communicated at the time of booking.

   • Prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are subject to change without prior notice.

2. Security Deposit:

   • A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals, which will be held against potential damage, traffic fines, or violations.

3. Additional Charges:

   • Charges may apply for additional drivers, late returns, cleaning, fuel refills, or traffic violations.

   • Any damage caused to the vehicle during the rental period may result in extra fees for repair or replacement.

4. Payment Methods:

   • Payments can be made via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other approved payment methods.

   • All payments must be cleared before the vehicle is handed over.

4. Driver Eligibility

• Renters must have a valid UAE or international driving license accepted in the UAE.

• The primary driver must be listed on the rental agreement.

• Additional drivers must be registered and approved by Golden Gears before operating the vehicle.

• Renters must be in good health and capable of driving safely.

5. Insurance and Liability

1. Insurance Coverage:

   • Golden Gears provides basic insurance coverage for all vehicles.

   • Insurance may cover third-party liability, collision damage, or theft, as specified in your rental agreement.

2. Exclusions:

   • Insurance does not cover damages due to negligence, reckless driving, alcohol or drug influence, or unauthorized drivers.

   • Renters remain liable for any damages, fines, or losses not covered by insurance.

3. Accidents:

   • In case of an accident, the renter must notify Golden Gears immediately and provide all necessary documentation.

   • Failure to report accidents may result in penalties and loss of insurance coverage.

6. Cancellations and Modifications

• Cancellations or modifications must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental.

• Cancellation fees may apply based on the timing and nature of the booking.

• No-shows or late cancellations may result in full rental charges.

7. Customer Obligations

• Ensure timely return of the vehicle at the agreed location and time.

• Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and Golden Gears policies.

• Maintain the vehicle in good condition and report any issues promptly.

• Not allow unauthorized persons to use the vehicle.

8. Limitation of Liability

Golden Gears is not liable for:

• Personal injury, property damage, or loss incurred during the rental period.

• Delays or inability to provide rental vehicles due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters, mechanical failure, or traffic restrictions.

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content on our website, mobile app, branding, and marketing materials, including text, logos, images, and software, is the intellectual property of Golden Gears.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our prior written consent.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Golden Gears respects your privacy and handles your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your data as outlined in the policy.

11. Governing Law
